Geography/Climate.
A planet with relatively little surface water, and a hot and wet surface. the surface gravity is 1.07 times that of Parahlitan, the average surface temperature is 27C. the air however is quite dense and has almost 50x the amount of carbon dioxide as Parahlitan (30,000ppm) so while survivable it is dangerous to human life long term,
City.
Having many sliver cities, the largest being “Main City” in the Grand-Lands “Sea-Breeze” in Mist-Bank and “Path-End” in Hex-Area. There are seven main sliver nations on the planet, humans currently control an area and have set up a city named Arrival, and they call their nation Palum. With the slivers thinking of the place as “Human-Area”. while the sliver cities sometimes trade between themselves, these cities are far smaller than human scale settlements and contain no more than a small ancient human settlement. Most slivers still live in an agrarian lifestyle.
Culture/Religion.
Slivers are an alien culture, many ideas translate poorly to human experience, broadly however Slivers are communal in nature, having strong familial and interpersonal bonds, they interact with humans well once known about. Slivers have developed a system of writing but native literacy is quite low, most slivers have a day to day concerned around the roles in their villages, agrarian and hunter-gatherer tasks. Slivers have a few native religions, of focus here is the “church of the six” which places a high emphasis on the number six as sacred and tied to secrets of the universe, when humans discovered this they made connection to the element carbon, and how both humans and slivers are carbon based biology. This discovery convinced many slivers of the truth of this religion.
History.
Parasirafat was discovered in 831AM and a human mission sent but once slivers discovered it was taken quickly into study, while Parahalbras and Paradilus had native animals it could be seen that slivers were different, and more over the biosphere of the planet also quite different. The scientific approach was taken and a young women named Silvia Rojokhan would spend her entire life understanding slivers. By 836AM very small scale diplomatic talks existed, and language was started to be learned, the process was quite slow and only a few people lived here long term. In 841AM the discovery of the Church of the six occurred and favorable contact was made. Into the 860’s AM small scale trade occurs between the planets but its still almost fully study. A city develops of a few hundred that live in and among the sliver community, a few live in other cities as diplomats but the world is still mostly cut off 890AM. By 934AM the city of Arrival does exist, the only majority human settlement and is almost purely scientists, with the bleeding work gets quick on adapting to the situation, humans work to stave the effects of lack of connection. Some humans live full time with slivers and just a breathing pack by 950AM. The humans on Parasirafat start to genetically engineer them selves to have a changed resperation system to breath the native atmosphere and also change gut bacteria to eat more native foods, a distinct human society by the year 1050AM. The first human is able to connect with a sliver using modified biology and surgery 1076AM.
Miscellaneous.
Parasirafat and Slivers are an interesting pocket of the world, mostly disconnected with a small amount of news and trade flowing into and out of the planet but mostly a scientific interest, as the entire Solasirafat system was decided to belong to the slivers the little land that humans have gotten is most likely what they will get, and those that live their being mostly scientists have other priorities then exploitation.
